This project involved a custom-designed spray booth built specifically for furniture and woodworking applications. The system was engineered with full consideration of furniture-coating techniques, the client’s plant layout and their monthly production volume. Installation of the booth and construction of the workshop were completed at the end of 2014, and the equipment entered operation in early 2015 at a furniture manufacturing facility in the UAE.

Our Solution

• The paint spray booth measures 8000 × 4000 × 3200 mm (L × W × H) internally and 9650 × 4100 × 4000 mm (L × W × H) externally. The size was determined based on the factory’s output requirements and available floor space.
• Ventilation is designed as a full downdraft system with a metal basement structure consisting of three rows of grilles and two rows of indented plates.
• Two main doors, one at the front and one on the right side, are installed allowing furniture to enter from one side and exit from the other. The workflow with this design significantly improves operational efficiency.
• The booth includes 10 ceiling lights and 12 side lights, providing illumination levels above 1000 LUX, ideal for wood finishing work.
• Both the air intake and exhaust systems use 7.5 kW turbo fans, each delivering 25,000 m³/h of air volume. The turbo fans provide stable and consistent performance.
