Customer Case
A retractable paint booth was customized for a large workpiece used in mineral power stations in Chile. The workpiece the client needed to coat had a maximum length of 60m and cannot be moved, so a retractable structure was required to meet the painting process on site.
The paint booth was designed with an inner size of 10 m × 7 m × 5.6 m, which fits a workpiece measuring 5 m in width and 4.5 m in height. The exhaust extraction system could move freely along both sides and was usually positioned on the left or right depending on the spraying area. It was equipped with a 15 kW motor that provided an air velocity of around 0.3 m/s at the extraction surface. Fiberglass filters and filter paper were used to capture overspray, and activated carbon helped reduce paint odor.
A fully enclosed configuration can also be supplied for projects that need a more controlled environment. This option adds full sidewalls and roof panels to create a closed spraying space, improving overspray control and airflow management when required.
